So, here's the helmet!

Now, when my fiancee tried on the helmet it turned out to be way too big for her (because it was made to fit an adult male and she's a petite female). I've spent the last day working on shrinking it for her. I had to dremel the white resin visor off, as well as trim the resin base about an inch and a half in (what's shown here).

I did another test fit after this and it turned out to still be a bit too big, so I spent a few more nights shrinking it a little more. After completing the base, I trimmed and heat shaped the plastic visor to fit the new base, and now it fits perfectly! I'll have photos of the new helmet once it's been painted.

Once everything is painted I'm going to stick em together, drill holes in the back, drill holes for the lights, install the lights, and then finish off with the padding. I'm also adding Rinzler's humming sound to the helmet as a little bonus.

More to come soon!

i am still kinda boggled by how this works, i was linked to you by your fiancee, whose outfit i will say is stunning! you both did a fantastic job.
are there any hints you can give a novice like myself trying to get into this area of cosplay making, ive been doing leather work for a while, but not to the level you are, which is very much higher. but i can do the basics. however i am new to plastics.
